  • Group classes create a fun and interactive learning environment. These classes are a great way to meet new people or build connection with that special someone.

Partners are not required to take a group class.

  • A private lesson gives the student one-on-one time with Loretta or Julie. If there is something in particular you are looking to improve upon, this is the option for you. Private lessons work well for students who have specific scheduling needs.

  • Choreography is sequence of specific moves and patterns. It is designed to be used for performances which can be casual, in a small setting, or elaborate on a big stage. Choreography is not intended for social dancing and can be done with any style of dance.

Choreography works well for wedding dances and competitions.

  • Dancing nourishes your body, mind and soul.

Dance classes encompass a wide array of benefits: they provide physical exercise (strength, cardio and flexibility) while also building memory retention and reducing stress.

  • Partners are not required for group classes or private sessions.

However, if you would like to bring a partner to class, you are welcome to.

  • Dress comfortably in clothing or athletic wear that allows you to have freedom of movement.

Dance shoes are encouraged. Sneakers are not recommended due to their rubber soles. Contact Loretta if you need more details or information on shoes.

  • Most of our classes and private sessions occur on a weekly basis. This is sufficient for beginners and for those looking to incorporate dance into their lives for fun.

However, we encourage students with ambitious dancing goals to take a combination of multiple classes and private sessions.

In general, the more classes and lessons taken, the quicker you will achieve your goals.
